Display Layout Configuration
Objective
The Display Layout Configuration option allows users to design various display formats to meet a company’s many needs. When going over cash flow, the analyst will select the appropriate format from those available. This option is similar to the financial statements’ format definition as it is also possible to identify and provide a description for every analysis format.
The analysis is displayed through tables, sometimes over several tabs. Each column represents a period, and all columns are configured in reference to a specific moment designated as the “current period”. Periods are therefore “before” or “after” the current period.
In this context, the term “period” does not necessarily refer to an accounting, financial, or fiscal period. It represents a user-defined time span that can mean a different duration (such as a day, week, or month) according to the type of analysis. |
This option describes the steps required to determine how the data is presented in the analysis. To establish how the information is processed, use the Line Configuration option. |
